I am really missing my blog. It seems that this year is almost over and I have hardly been here. So much has been happening, and understandably, my dear little blog comes pretty low on the family priority list! I am really just a busy mother who loves to bake and create. I love this cake. It is amazing how a cake can have a life of it’s own. Oh yes!! My vision for this cake was entirely different to the beauty you see before you! It really did evolve…it had a mind (and colour palette ) of it’s own and honestly it just kept growing until it was satisfied…true.
Less dramatically, I made this cake for a lovely young woman called Coral who turned 18. Once I find a more reliable source for brightly coloured macarons other than Mc Cafe, I hope to create some insanely eye popping numbers that turn heads when I swan into the birthday room with my baby …oh I mean cake!
